Meanwhile, over in Miami Mom went through security with a pack of gum in her pocket and sparkly jeans so she set off the screening machine thingy, yes that is the technical name for it. So she had to get a pat down and her hands swabbed for who knows what, bomb residue? Left over Spearmint gum?
Mom and Dad managed to make it into the country ahead of me...
Eventually I got through passport control and customs and met up with them at Heathrow...

We hopped on the Heathrow Express, Mom and Dad are pretty excited to go see the sites.
Well that was until we felt some bumps and the train stopped, and we were told that the train stopped because there was a "fatality in the area". Uhm WHAT!?! Oh and by "fatality in the area" they really mean that we ran someone over. Apparently the Express train is so express it doesn't stop for people, literally...too soon?
Soooo the Griswold streak continues as we have now been sitting on the train for over an hour and they aren't sure when we are going to be able to get moving again. Blam!
